Finding that Happy Place!

Strangely, I am there. I mean- no I am not happy with my body… but I am happy with me. This is new for me. It has always been I could not have one without the other. But losing the 20 some odd pounds that I lost helped me get there… but it has also helped me find myself at a place of complacency… Which isn't good. I am not losing, but I am not gaining. I am trying to find a balance in my life. Between being a stay at home mom, homeschooling, working a business… I find that I am not giving myself any ME time to take care of myself. The time I take for me is-- right now. 1am when my kids wake before 7am. Makes no sense right?

So what do you do when you find yourself not giving yourself time? Make plans for the gym. Yesterday my sister asked me something about the gym and I said "No, but I am going tomorrow at 9am." As soon as it came out of my mouth I said "Well that was COMPLETE dejavu from the day before." And we laughed. But truth be told- it was. Yesterday morning was a rough morning around this house and by the time I COULD have gotten out the door… yea, my little one was asleep…

So here is to me.. ATTEMPTING to make a difference this week!

Little Sis here..... you know what sucks.....is how immediate we are as humans! Maybe as humans in our day and time. Whatever is the cause, we struggle to want results now and fast.

I know we have all heard this, especially for American's in our fast pace lives.

That is why fast-food wins out most times when we are in a hurry and need to eat. That is why the gym, and eating healthy are the first to go when we just don't have enough time to work out or to prep food.

Plus, add that on top of the fact that our bodies don't react immediately to one workout and one healthy meal.

Seeing changes in our body and in our lives TAKE TIME!

OMG, who has that right!

But if it's important, then you will stick with it! And even though I have been guilty in the past of not seeing results, and so giving in to those unhealthy foods that are just fast and easy, I feel like I have turned over a new leaf!

So heres to sticking it out and seeing results!! Because if you work hard and stay disciplined, results WILL COME!

Even over the past few weeks seeing the scale go down NONE, I have stuck with my new eating routine and workouts, and finally, today, I see results!

So take the TIME! Make it important to you! Prep food, make good choices on foods that will NOURISH your body, NOT harm! And take TIME out of the day for YOURSELF to go to the gym, on a walk or run, and enjoy the time you have doing the things that are feeding your bodies good health and nutrition! And in TIME....there will be changes!
