Can you feel it where you live? We are in Texas and may I just tell you... yesterday felt like spring! It was beautiful. It was exciting. It was simply amazing. The hard part with being in Texas is that tomorrow it could be freezing cold. :) Growing up we would say that Texas weather was like no other, that it could be one season one minute and BAM! another season the next. I have found out with our adventures around the world: Texas, Mississippi, Japan, Thailand, California, and now back in Texas... that most places are truly like that. Isn't it wonderful?
Last year I joined a gym in December of 2011. That is when I began to take my life back over. It started slowly, but I was dedicated. When March rolled around and my baby boy was going to turn 2... I got serious about running again. It became my drug again and I am so thankful! In April I let my gym membership go because it was so beautiful outside and all I wanted to do was run... and ran I did. I ran almost every, single day! I love running outside when it is isn't cold. The problem is when you get spoiled to running outside... you don't like treadmills.
With Spring on its way (come on, I have high hopes)... a lot is changing in my life. I desire to get out there and run and hope that my little guy and I will since his jogger comes today! It also brings in a new little life to our family.. a little girl. I am so eager to start my running journey again with TWO beautiful children. I am raising them right. This pregnancy is not how I envisioned I would be when I got pregnant again... but I have still managed to run 2 half marathons, a 10K, and I have another half-marathon a month from TODAY!!! So though I may not be dedicated enough or as I use to be right now- I have NO doubt I will be when baby comes and I heal!
So my question for you today is... what season is your favorite and WHY!?
