This week, I made the switch, Back to Decaf Coffee.... No I am not pregnant, although between you and me, I did take a pregnancy test yesterday, just to make sure!
Anyways, back to this decaf thing. I am a coffee LOVER! I love it! I don't drink cokes, but coffee, that's my go-to! Cold or hot, I don't care, I just like it!
So in the past few months of being a stay at home mom, I drink coffee even more!
I mean take a look here, this was my morning!
A sweet 6 month baby boy playing in his room while mommy enjoys her coffee, can't get much better than that.
Anyways, the past few weeks Z was really struggling going to sleep at night, and had gone from pretty much sleeping through the night to waking multiple times! NOT FUN FOR MOMMY!
So, I finally became aware of how much coffee I had been drinking. SIDENOTE: I am not the most self-aware person when it comes to things like this!
I would drink coffee all throughout the day, hot in the morning, iced coffee in the afternoon.
Then came the BIG DECISION to SWITCH to DECAF!!
Okay, really it wasn't a big decision, coffee is coffee to me, I can't really tell the difference.
I started this week, and already this little babe is sleeping better! Last night he went to sleep around 8PM and woke up around 7:30AM this morning! PERFECT!
Plus, I'm not too upset about it. I still get to enjoy my favorite holiday creamer!! yummy!
Seriously though, who doesn't love a good peppermint mocha coffee!
So Decaf it is, but only for the sake of a sleeping baby. Eventually, probably for the sake of another GROWING baby, and when that time comes, I'll already be prepared with my Decaf!
